Loopy Mango flagship store offers knitting, crocheting and other fiber arts workshops and classes. Visit our store or website for current schedule and to sign up. All classes are very beginner friendly and use chunky yarn and big knitting tools. Our focus is on learning to knit fast and being able to complete a project within one or two sessions. Our motto is: anyone can be creative – all you have to do is give it a try!
Nancy LeVine will work closely with you to identify your photographic story, and to develop a plan for exploring it in greater depth and breadth. If you are just starting, or have a series of ideas or beginnings, we will set a course for expanding your project and discuss what might constitute a ‘complete’ story of your subject, or, if you have a long-term work in progress, we will look at your bank of images in connection with your goals to help you understand how to edit your work, and fill in gaps in your story. If you have just returned from a trip where you have taken many photographs, this class can help you select the photographs that best speak to your experience. There are always many stories within a journey. Please contact me for more information about workshops.
This workshop offers guidance and feedback for those who would like to produce an artist or photo book project of their own, but aren’t sure where to begin. Best suited for designers, printmakers, papermakers, illustrators and photographers who have both digital and basic hand skills.
