Wednesday, April 5
2:30 – 4pm
Arts Mid-Hudson
696 Dutchess Turnpike, Suite F, Poughkeepsie, New York 12603
Join fellow artists who have accumulated a lifetime of their work, to discuss possible plans for their artworks, both before or after their death. This workshop/discussion will provide an opportunity for older artists with a lifetime of work in storage, to share their knowledge, experience, and problems with other artists in the same situation.
Sydney Cash will lead the discussion, and share his experience with archiving, and appropriately giving artwork away.
The discussion will center around:
- What a normal situation this is.
- How to think about and deal with the emotional impact of your accumulated artwork.
- How to begin to begin to archive and manage your artwork estate.
This workshop may be extended to regular meetings if attendees see the need.
