Lydia Adams Davis / Website / Contact /Recent Press /Recording artist, singer/songwriter, Lydia Adams Davis, weaves a beautiful voice and her captivating melodies with audiences of all ages. Called a “Splendid performer ” by The New York Times, Lydia improvises songs on the spot. Peter Yarrow said “Lydia combines warmth and magic to bring the long history of folk music home to your heart.” Her albums include “Take Me Back”, “Gift of Story”, “One Earth So Green and Round” and “We All Have Lunch with Lydia”. Lydia is joined by wild animal handpuppets for family performances. Lydia’s performances for adults include concerts, coffee houses, and festivals. Lydia performs her own original folk songs or those of great masters like Woody Gurthrie, Pete Seeger, Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash, and Willie Nelson and those you request. Historical programs include songs and stories from the mid-eighteenth century, to present, performed in costume.

Anna Brady Nuse / Website / Formed in 2002 by choreographer and dance filmmaker, Anna Brady Nuse, Straight to the Helicopter is a multimedia production company dedicated to making dance that is gutsy, original and accessible. The company has received support from the Puffin Foundation, the Brooklyn Arts Council, the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, The Kri Foundation of New Delhi with a travel grant from the US Embassy in India and many generous individuals.

Kelly Ellenwood / Website / Contact / Soprano and award-winning actor Kelly Ellenwood has performed principal roles on and off Broadway, on stages in every state across the US, and on film & television. Awards include the Gold Medal and First Prize at the Savannah (GA) Music Festival’s “American Traditions Competition” singing America’s music – Gospel, Blues, Jazz and the American Musical Theatre. She received her BM from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and earned an MM from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana where she coached with legend John Wustman. Kelly is particularly proud to call herself a “Community Organizer” and between her music, raising a family and volunteer work is happily and perpetually overextended. Currently Vice President of BeaconArts.

Hall/Lincoln Ctr, Kennedy Ctr/DC, ArtPark/Buffalo area and San Francisco’s Theatre Artaud as a lead in the acclaimedUrban Bush Women’s dance theatre/opera, PRAISE HOUSE. Steeped in experimental works she has been a regular at The Public Theatre,Knitting Factory, The Kitchen, CBGB’s and the Federal Theatre. Goldee is also an Off-B’way playwright whose full-length hit musical, SPRANG THANG, was produced by Amas Musical Theatre Co. Locally she has played the Philipstown Depot Theatre, Beacon Sloop Club, Beacon Theatre, Chill Wine Bar and the Howland Cultural Center. She writes an Arts & Entertainment column for the Beacon Free Press/So. Dutchess News as well as contributing to Chronogram.

Michel is a frequent lecturer, and spent a year at Duke University’s Center for Documentary Studies, as the Lehman-Brady Chair Professor of Documentary and American Studies.  Her current project is a performance documentary called “Live? Die? Kill? – Three Questions in Various Geographies.”
