Closing Reception – A Hiroshima Survivor Speaks

The 1000 Crane Origami art installation created by RTA prisoner-members at Fishkill Correctional Facility will come to a close on Sunday, September 29th.

In order to celebrate the closing of this exhibit Tomiko West, a survivor of the Hiroshima bombing in Japan will speak at Hudson Beach Glass to relate her experience of the horrific devastation of Japan as well as her personal journey of survival and hope. Tomiko West, a resident of Lagrangeville, NY was 13 years old in Hiroshima on August 6, 1945.
