The photo exhibit is a celebration of all things vintage, focusing on such subjects as signs, cars, clothing, toys, household items, architecture and many other sorts of objects. In these images, ten photographers from the Beacon Photography Group will offer their visions of the vintage, providing the viewer with a celebration of the continuation of the old into our current world.
The Beacon Photography Group was founded in 2013. The group began as an online community where photographers can share their work and get feedback and support from their fellow photographers. Since then, the group’s activities have expanded to include face-to-face meet ups, photo walks and exhibitions. The group, now with over 300 members, is open to photographers of all levels from beginner to professional. Local photographers interested in joining the Beacon Photography Group can visit their facebook page, www.facebook.com/groups/Beaconphotogroup/.
