A Little Beacon Space in the Telephone Building

291 Main Street, Beacon

BeaconArts MemberThe last Wednesday of (almost) every month is our monthly BeaconArts Member Meet Up!

If you haven’t met Katie Hellmuth Martin yet, this is your chance!  Katie is the mind behind A Little Beacon Blog and she has been working non-stop finding out the stories that make our beloved community so unique and  putting that knowledge out into the world.  ALBB is a proud media sponsor of BeaconArts and has been a business sponsor for many of BeaconArts fiscally sponsored projects.

Also on the agenda for the meeting: Come find out more about the word on opportunities and upcoming grant deadlines, arts news and THE HOLIDAYS.  As the inimitable Dorothy Parker once said – “Time doth flit, oh sh—.”

lori-merhige-effluenceImmediately following the meeting Beacon 3D Founder and Director Eleni Smolen will be presenting an artist talk by sculptor Lori Merhige.  Beacon 3D is raising funds towards project acquisition to celebrate 5 years in 2017. Lori’s work EFFLUENCE (picture at right) is the work being considered, and will be the lead sculpture in the 2017 exhibit.  Please join us to find out more about this important initiative and lend your support!
