Beacon Photography Group: Autumn in the Hudson Valley

The Howland Public Library is pleased to announce the Beacon Photography Group will be mounting a new exhibition opening November 10th entitled, Autumn in the Hudson Valley.

The Autumn in the Hudson Valley exhibit includes the work of sixteen local area photographers and features images of nature and seasonal autumn events in Beacon and the greater Hudson Valley. All are welcome to the opening reception on November 10th for a chance to meet the photographers and to view their photographs. Many of the works will also be for sale. The show will continue through the end of November.

The Beacon Photography Group was founded  in 2013. The group began as an online community where photographers could share their work and get feedback and support from their fellow photographers. Since then, the group’s activities have expanded to include face-to-face meet ups, photo walks and exhibitions. The group, now with over 300 members,  is open to photographers of all levels from beginner to professional. The Howland Public Library is located at 313 Main Street, Beacon NY 12508. The Community Room Exhibit Space is open during regular library hours. Please note the gallery may not be accessible during some library programs. Please consult the library calendar at beaconlibrary.org.
