The Howland Cultural Center will host a triple-heavyweight bout on second Saturday in September when two dynamic rock bands from Beacon, NY are joined by one of the most commanding, hip-hop influenced electric jazz groups performing today. Pop-punk band Ate Bit will be joined by the acclaimed saxophonist James Brandon Lewis Trio (featuring bassist Luke Stewart and drummer Warren “Trae” Crudup III), and the tough groove of a new local group, Sir/Real. Master of ceremonies for the evening will be the Beacon-based writer and performer Robby Anderson.
Ate Bit, James Brandon Lewis Trio and Sir/Real will perform at the Howland Cultural Center on Saturday, September 8 at 8 PM. Admission is $10 — advance tickets are available now at https://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/3555654.
