Submission Guidelines

  • The exhibition is open to anyone who is a current BeaconArts member
  • All mediums will be accepted: painting, sculpture, drawing, photography, video, ceramics, fiber art, etc.
  • Artists may submit 1-3 works each; 1 work by each artist will be selected for the show
  • Space is limited. Artwork should be smaller than 40″ in order to accommodate everyone
  • Submit your work by email to membershow@beaconarts.org
  • The email should include your name, email, phone number and a list of works submitted in this format: artist name, title, date, medium, dimensions, price (if for sale).
  • Images should be JPGS less than 1 MB each

Grant Deadline Approaching – USArtists International

Committed to the presence of U.S. artists on world stages, USArtists International provides grants of up to $15,000 to ensembles and individual performers in dance, music and theater invited to perform at significant international festivals and performing arts markets abroad. Next deadline: April 3 at 11:59 PM Eastern for projects taking place between July 1, 2019-June 30, 2020. Review the eligibility guidelines and apply today. Additional future deadlines will be available in July 2019. In February, USArtists International awarded more than $340,000 in grants to 37 ensembles nationwide to perform 45 engagements at 34 different festivals in 25 different countries on six continents. 2019 Dutchess County Poet Laureate Announced

Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro has appointed Hopewell Junction resident Raphael Kosek as the County’s 2019 Poet Laureate. Ms. Kosek will serve a one-year term in this unpaid role and bring poetry to the community through a series of readings and events, the first of which will be to read her poetry at the County Executive’s 2019 State of the County Address on Wednesday, February 27th at The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park.
