When did you launch your business?

Did you start in Beacon?

If yes, why did you decide to start your business here?
Beacon is a great place to be with great people.

Is there one thing about your business that you would really like folks to know?puppetclass01-Recovered
Beacon Art Studios is a place where children and adults can gather together to create new things from old things to find new use to seemingly useless things. Learn how to sew, knit, crochet, make puppets and just enjoy the creation for what it is. I try hard to put emphases on the process and not necessarily on the finished product, especially working with children.

When did you become a member of BeaconArts and why?
2013 ~ It seams like a good organization to be a member of.

Where are you from originally?
Sweden (the country}

What is your favorite book?
The Mysterious Flame of Queen Loana by Umberto Eco

Do you have a favorite place, event or thing to do in Beacon?
I like to take a stroll on main street in the late afternoon. The Sunday flea market.

How do you think Beacon is different from other Hudson Valley cities?
I think Beacon is a small city with the feeling of a neighborhood. I think it differs because it has a lot of people that really care and are ready to go out there and work for a better place for there children and for us all. The people of Beacon are not just talk they are doers and makers and that makes a humongous difference.

Using your imagination, describe Beacon five years from now.
I will leave this to the more literary enhanced of this organization. But I am sure there will be more of all the good stuff and less of all the bad stuff. And no cars on main street on Saturday and Sundays 🙂
