  • Beacon Open Studios needs a new director for 2017. Please contact Theresa Goodman if you are interested.  There is a seasoned volunteer team in place; plenty of help.  7th year.
  • International Residency organized by Basha Maryanska is happening at Scenic Hudson’s River Center, September 24 – October 8.

  • Howland Library fundraiser- small works show- call for submission, and silent auctionSee website for info or visit Michelle Rivas at library. Auction is Sept 10.
  • One Hour Workshops- new idea by Ed Benavente; Sat mornings 9-10 am with coffee and donuts; members can share ideas and suggest or teach topics, aught by Ed- knot tying 9-10 am at Welcome Center in Polhill Park on August 27 – this month’s topic is “Paper Airplanes.”
  • Fireball Run, Sept 28 – Rick Rogers has been in touch about painting the finish line.  More info coming!
