Keys to the City
8 pianos so far- looking for artists to paint pianos
Fall 2017- installing pianos in public spaces for people, esp children, to play and interact with
Promoting access to the arts and music education for all citizens

Beacon Independent Film Fest– Terry
Finalized film lineup for Sept event- lots of Beacon representation
location of all screenings is University Settlement Camp
’32 Pills’ panel about documentaries, will show clips from film (which will be shown at Woodstock Film Fest)
Made films with kids- to be shown on Sunday- community day
Tickets going on sale in next few weeks

Beacon 3D
All public sculptures have been installed, including city acquisition of Lori Merhige’s sculpture down by City Hall
Opening party to be announced

BAEF- Calico Ball
raised $16,000- funds go to Beacon school district

Windows on Main St– Pam Dailey
BeaconArts is taking over the longtime project this year
proposals due Jul 8
preregistration by June 30
artists propose installation and work with WOMS to select storefronts
businesses can register to express interest in hosting artists- questionnaire for preferences/rules

BeaconArts at Rhinebeck Bank– opportunity for artists to display work- info distributed
