Apply for a Solo Show at WAAM

Submissions for Solo Shows at WAAM in 2018 are open to artists living within a 50 mile radius of Woodstock. Artists who have had a Solo Show at WAAM during the past 5 years are not eligible.

The juror is Kenise Barnes, director and owner of Kenise Barnes Fine Art. She has degrees in Fine Art and in Women’s Studies and was the specialist in charge of contemporary art at Christie’s East. With more than 20 years experience in the arts, Kenise is a gallery director, independent curator, exhibition juror, and art advisor.  Apply Here

Call for Artists and Makers

All work offered must be original and made in the Mid-Hudson region. Work should be made by hand or with the use of artists’ tools, whether it is a potter’s wheel or hi-tech printer, and should be made with the artist’s individual vision in mind. (more…)

Virginia Center for the Creative Arts Residency Deadline Approaching!

Apply now for the opportunity to become a Creative Fellow

Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation, through its Creative Fellowships program, annually supports residencies for writers, composers, and visual artists at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. Visiting artists are provided with private studios, room and board, and the company of other artists from around the nation, for intensive, self-guided creative exploration and development. In addition to sponsorship support, a modest travel subsidy is awarded to each of the selected artists.

Interested artists in Delaware, Maryland, New York, and West Virginia should apply directly to the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. More information is available on the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts website 

The next deadline for applications is September 15, 2017.
