The Clean Water Act: Where We’ve Come and Where We Need to Go

Location: Scenic Hudson’s River Center at Long Dock ParkBeacon, NY
Join us as we celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Clean Water Act and discuss improvements in water quality over the past 40 years and where we need to move in the future to protect our valuable water resources.Tracy Brown of Riverkeeper will discuss the results of Riverkeeper’s recent report, How is the Water?, on sewage contamination of the Hudson River Estuary. Emily Vail and Andrew Meyer of the NYSDEC Hudson River Estuary Program will discuss regional water quality , green infrastructure practices, and what you can do to help.

Sloop Brewing Artisan Beer Tasting Fundraiser at Hudson Beach Glass

Saturday, August 4 6:00-9:00pm – Please help get the word out and encourage people to purchase tickets in advance to reserve a glass. Tickets are available online, at Hudson Beach Glass, on the boat, or through Sloop Brewing at the farmer’s market, or from Alan Thomas if you can catch him.
