In a rebirth of an annual Beacon, NY tradition, Windows on Main Street invites local artists to explore themes of art as cultural currency. The persistent drum of artists working here and their collective hum have been instrumental in the creation of both intangible and known economic value in Beacon.  As the city’s economic landscape transforms, BeaconArts sees this project as a means to raise awareness of the vital but sometimes invisible role artists play.
