Movie Night for Teens at the Howland Public Library, Tue Aug 14

Teens ages 13 and up are invited to Teen Movie Night at Howland Public Library on Tuesday, Aug. 14th from 6:30-8:30pm.  Members of the Library’s TAG and YAC groups combined their efforts to plan a fun night for teens that will include a movie and snacks.  They will be showing, “Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows” as part of the teen reading theme, Own the Night.  In this movie, rated PG-13, Robert Downey Jr. reprises his role as the world’s most famous detective, and Jude Law returns as his colleague, Dr. Watson.  Holmes has always been the smartest man in the room…until now.  There is a new criminal mastermind at large.

This movie night is free, and snacks and drinks will be provided.  Be sure to bring a comfy pillow or blanket for the floor (pj’s optional).  For more information, contact Ginny Figlia, Youth Services Librarian, at 845-831-1134, x.103.  Visit our website for a list of programs and events for youth at http://beaconlibrary.org.
