| NYCDOT Urban Art Program: Call for Proposals, deadline March 1 |
| The New York City Department of Transportation, in partnership with the Mayor’s Office of Community Affairs Unit and New York Cares, is launching an initiative to improve the appearance of Jersey Barriers at selected sites around the City. NYCDOT is soliciting artists to propose designs to be painted directly onto a number of barriers with support from NY Cares volunteers over a single weekend in spring 2010. The NYCDOT’s Urban Art Program invites you to participate in this open call for designs. Download the RFP here: http://www.nyc.gov/html/dot/downloads/pdf/jersey_barrier_rfp.pdf.
