Cancelled Due to the Weather Newburgh Preservation Association (NPA) Hosts After-Work Mixer in Beacon, NY FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: Rita Tantillo February, 2010 562-2318 To spread the word on the importance of preservation, NPA is hosting Preservation, Education and Participation (PEP) Mixers, after-work get-togethers, to raise awareness of its mission, to network with the community, and build membership. Please join NPA on Thursday, February 25, 2010, 5:00 -7:00 PM at Chill Wine Bar, 173 Main Street, Beacon, NY. Enjoy a short presentation on the Preservation of Calvert Vaux’s 1852-designed “Hoyt House” in Staatsburgh, New York, given by guest speaker Alan Strauber, Director of the Calvert Vaux Alliance. A Cash Bar and Light Appetizers will be served along with the chance of winning a door prize. Cost: $10.00.
