BACALounge - 4th Wednesday of the Month, 6:30 pm (click on highlighted text below for more info)
What's a BACA Lounge? It's a monthly gathering of Beacon artists and other folks who care about developing and promoting Beacon's creative community. It's also a chance for a Beacon artists to show their stuff. BACALounges have taken place at studios, galleries, restaurants and venues all over town with a new location every month. We gather, we network, we learn about an artist's work and we talk about the upcoming events, issues and activities that make our city one of the brightest lights in the Hudson Valley. So come on down to the BACALounge and add your spirit to the mix.

Gotta love a business whose mission statement includes Architecture, Sustainable Living and Chocolate!! Please join us Wednesday, July 28th starting at 6:30pm for BACA LOUNGE series at School of Jellyfish located at 183 Main Street (www.schoolofjellyfish.com). We will meet the founder of this concept business, Lily Zand and hear how she came to open this wonderful little shop with such big global ideas on how to better the world! If lucky, she might teach us how to make those treasured chocolate truffles!
