Hudson Beach Gallery presents “2abstract,” with works by Mike Childs and Patricia Zarate, through April 8
Hudson Beach Gallery is pleased to present 2abstract, an exhibition of work by two New York based artists, Canadian Mike Childs and Colombian-American Patricia Zarate.Childs has developed a minimal, mainly abstract language of patterns, symbols, structural logic and colors derived from photographs of Modern buildings he has taken in Toronto, Canada and New York.
Zarate’s work is a slow process that is fueled by images conjured from observation, memory, visuals, words, and music. Presently, color and light occupy her; how the placement and relationship effects our perception.
The exhibition includes, paintings, drawings and 3-dimensional works.
2abstract is curated by artist Kirsten Kucer.
