The Norman Rockwell Museum invites national and international artists working in all media to create a new work inspired by the theme of the Four Freedoms, or the meaning of freedom today, for possible selection and inclusion in the Museum’s major international traveling exhibition — Enduring Ideals: Rockwell, Roosevelt & the Four Freedoms and/or its digital compendium.  (more…)

Open Call for Sculpture

Chris Davison Gallery in conjunction with Regal Bag Studios, 4th floor is calling for sculpture only:

The exhibition titled, “Sculpture Only” will run from 18 March through 1 April 2017.

Seeking Artists: The Week of the Young Child

On Tuesday April 4th (10am and/or  2pm) we are celebrating the ARTS by inviting local artists to visit our program and discuss their artwork and create a special project with our children.

Head Start is a comprehensive preschool program for low income families. Every year we celebrate “The Week of the Young Child” (WOYC) sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Please let us know:

  • The time(s) you are available (10am &/2pm)
  • How long you are able to stay (20 minute increments)- this helps us determine how many classrooms you can cover
  • The materials you will need- For example: last year a few artists introduced abstract painting with water colors and we purchased water colors
