Love/Hate: Interactive Valentine’s Day Themed Art Event and Dance Party @ Blackbird Attic through Sat Feb 11

Beacon consignment shop, Blackbird Attic, is hosting a community art event to celebrate Valentine’s Day.  This interactive art show, entitled “Love / Hate,” is open to anyone who would like to participate.

Beginning now, until February 9th, Blackbird Attic will be accepting anonymous love or hate letters and artwork to be displayed gallery-style.  A typewriter and craft supplies will be available during store hours for public use.

A finale event showcasing all the submitted letters and art pieces will be held on Second Saturday, February 11th,  at 442 Main Street in Beacon, NY from 5-9pm. Following the letter showcase, view art and join us for a dance party at 159 Fishkill Ave in Beacon, NY. Refreshments will be served at both locations.

For more information on dropping off letters, contact Michelle at 845-418-4840 or info@blackbirdattic.com. For information on submitting artwork, contact Lorin at l.garciahalstead@gmail.com.
